Memorial Day

We spent the morning at a splash pad with some good friends - it was a perfect day for it, the weather was beautiful! Lauren and Porter were not too sure about the water though, I think swim lessons had them a bit shaky. ;o)

Warming up to the idea of playing in the water...

Enjoying a treat after Daddy coaxed her into the water. Is there any OTHER way to eat an oreo?!?

Just have to share a shot of my little Paige! She was a little trooper and even napped outside in the stroller for me! Nothing like a little sunshine to get those babies their rest!

Lauren's Party

Lauren's 3rd Birthday Party was Saturday at Peter Piper Pizza, and boy was it FUN! She absolutely loved it - and was meltdown-free for over two hours! ;o)

My parents came down from Vegas and Lauren really enjoyed spending time with them.

Lauren and her friends Devin, Nikki, Kali, Jackson, Lexi, and Sophi. Porter was there, too -- but somehow I missed him!

Making a Princess Ariel wish!

Daddy training her in the ways of gaming!

And just so you don't think I forgot about her... a picture of Paige. Hope this one brightens your day up a bit!

Her hair is getting pretty long on the top. The sides are very wispy and light in color. Just had to share her post-bath pseudo-Mohawk. :oD

Swim class

Lauren did amazing this year! The first week was rough, but today was our last day and she cried when we left! She was diving for rings, jumping off the board, and coming up for breath! These lessons were worth every penny!!!

Lauren and Camryn taking a break

Love her form!

Pretty Camryn is a brave little swimmer!

Lauren's birthday

She was sick, but it was a pretty fun third birthday! Everything is good as long as there are cupcakes and gifts!

She LOVES her digital camera! I have to admit Justin and I think it is pretty cool too!

Paige's Dedication

On Sunday we dedicated Paige - promising to raise her to love God and have a faith in Jesus. We pray that we are able to lead by example and see our kids love Jesus at a young age as well as throughout their lives!

Pastor Tom addressing all the families.

Praying over the babies

Our family - Lauren was NOT in the mood for a photo op! At least we have well documented her attitude, LOL! (WHERE do these girls get this auburn hair?!? It is gorgeous, but at their age, both Justin and I had blonde, and now we are brown! Bizarre!)

The best shot of the teeth so far. She just won't put that tongue away long enough for me to get a picture in. She is still a very smiley girl - really hope that personality trait sticks! I looooove it!

Clear Creek

On Saturday, we packed up the car and headed to West Clear Creek near Camp Verde. We were planning on a hike, but ended up finding a great little swimming hole!

Lauren walked for about five minutes before she decided she'd much rather be riding in the backpack. Here she was showing up how "tired" she was by panting. ;o)

What an awesome Daddy to give her a lift!

Mommy had a slightly lighter load!

Crossing the creek to get over to the swimming hole. Lauren didn't mind just jumping right in!

Justin asked her to go down to the bottom and get a rock (she has been doing rings at swim lessons) and she was happy to oblige!!! We were so proud - but she was pretty much done going under water after that.

It was a really fun trip to enjoy some warm (but not hot) weather and play in the water. We think we'd love to spend a day up here again!
