Portrait Tuesday

I feel compelled to share two today. We went for a little walk in the wash behind a local park and I was so glad I brought my camera along! It cheered me up.

Doesn't she look sweet? This little angel couldn't have BIT her little sister on the NOSE this morning, no way! She is much too darling and nice for terror inducing actions like that!

Or not. Some days, it is a good thing they are so cute!

I was grateful that I had control of my emotions when this happened this morning. I just a said, "You have got to be kidding me, Lauren. Go to your room." After a couple minutes of comforting Paige, I went in and Lauren and I had what the Swope family refers to as a "Come to Jesus Talk". ;o) I never imagined I would deal with such an issue when she is almost five years old! She has never done anything like this, and it was over such a petty thing. We had a loooooong talk about why we don't hurt other people and controlling your emotions. Hopefully it will take - because that is not a moment I want to be experiencing again any time soon.

Sheesh!

The photos are great. I am in disbelief that L bit her. Not what I was expecting to read - at all.

On a side note...I love that you used our verbage!! And good jov for not losing your cool! :)

LOL about the comment you made to her when she did it! Porter dumped his milk on the carpet last night on purpose for no reason and I said pretty much the same thing. Sometimes I wonder where they come up with this stuff and why they would think it's OK. Maybe she wanted her to match her boyfriend Harper with a nose scare. :) Love the pictures and really enjoy seeing your "frame a day" again.

Okay, well at least your little angel brought her aunt Tam a much needed smile today... and at least Little Miss Paige is still smiling... seriously, though, that's definitely not a talk you should have to endure again... hopefully Lauren "came to Jesus" haha - I too love your daily posts!

Wow! The pix are great :) Someone else mentioned a "Come to Jesus" talk. I think it was the first I heard of it. I guess it's more popular than I knew. You are a wonderful mom. I hope you don't have to deal with anything like that again ever.
